Running in Heat

As the Marathoners prepare for tomorrow’s Boston Marathon, hydration is on their minds. The forecast is calling for record heat of 85-88 degrees. This were the runners need to make sure they have strategy to survive the race. First is to be hydrated, this is not just water but with Gatorade at the water stops and with gels and/or salt tablets (MetaSalt). Another key for the runners is staying cool that pouring water over the head and running under the locals showers. The third key is to slow the pace down. Forth is to enjoy the party with the spectators.

I wish all the runners good luck.
