Sloshing trough the trails

Wednesday’s run was wet! The trails were very wet in Maudslay State Park. Running through puddles (ponds) ankle deep did not deter me from stopping and leaving. I realized the trail race I am training for in October can have these conditions. Maybe I am crazy by my realization but my will was strong to get me through the 10 mile trail run. I see Maudslay as my sanctuary which connects me to earth in mediated state. I have done races in snowstorm and 100 degree weather but always finish. Strength comes from the soul connecting to the earth.
