Wednesday night 4/17, many runners from around the country ran in groups in solidarity to remember the victims of the Boston Marathon Finish Bombings. The picture above is part of Latitude group.
The running community, we are a large united strong group which are resilient. We will keep running marathons and road races. Fear is not in our vocabulary. Boston and the spectators are part of this community.
Now the one bombing suspect was killed and the other captured, we all can start the healing process. As I watch TV, the Watertown residents clap as the police, state troopers and FBI cars leave town with joy and jubilation. Many marathoners missed this Monday but will be back to experience it next year.
Run with love and solidarity for all the victims and thank the law enforcement bringing an end to this madness.
