Last Friday night, I started my Christmas shopping but I had fun. The weather was a balmy 45 degrees with snow still showing its face; the homes had their holiday lights on and shops in Newburyport were doing Invitation Night. It was perfect until a couple cars beeping their horns. Locals say to them go back to the city. We are the quintessential New England town that takes it slow and easy. As I drove to Delaware for 6 hours, I just chilled and enjoyed the New York City skyline and George Washington Bridge. At the rest stops everyone was relaxed and friendly. When you feel the gratitude, the holiday is less stressful and you become more energized.
Enjoy your family, friends during the holidays! Don’t stress over the little things, just feel the gratitude!
