Life Is Good

As I say in my blog tag line: “Gear up for your fitness, run, triathlon at any age.”. It so true today, many middle age people are starting to run 5Ks to marathons and/or do triathlons because it is possible. Maris, an Ironman triathlete, and I talked about how we are still doing it and never will look back why not. She is training for her 8th Ironman, which she is happy that she is not has been injured with her heavy training. Preventing injury is the big part why it is best to train with a coach or personal trainer. They keep your on course and work with your goals and issues. After months running the roads and trails, I am not injured and ready to run the Pinelands 25K Trail race this Sunday. I know as a triathlon coach/personal trainer cross training and doing core/strength training has keep me injury free. It will make it easy to switch to half Ironman training quickly.

What makes you happy?
